Mrs. Antonia M. Dorsey, known as “Nia” to her colleagues and friends, is a native of Omaha, Nebraska. Upon graduating from Omaha Public Schools, Nia was known to have an entrepreneurial spirit. That spirit led Nia into her first business venture as she opened Nia’s Chicken and Waffles and later opened the Fishing Hole. After closing those businesses Nia then went back to school and earned her bachelor’s and master's degree from Bellevue University. Now as a mental health therapist and drug and alcohol counselor, Nia has been able to support the Omaha community in various capacities while working for such agencies as Nebraska Families Collaborative, Girls INC, and CHI Health (Immanuel Residential Treatment Facility). Nia has been able to blend her entrepreneurial spirit with the passion to support people in the Omaha community. Out of that blend has been the birth of Capture Developmental and Community Services. When Nia is not running her business she enjoys cooking, spending time with her children and family members. As a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc, Nia is also a member of many community groups and boards throughout the Omaha area. Nia’s passion about the people of Omaha community serves as her foundation. Nia’s grandmother serves as her internal motivation to

Jamar Dorsey Sr., Ed.D

Mr. Jamar L. Dorsey Sr. is a proud product of Omaha, Nebraska. Attending Omaha Public Schools until he went to Grambling State University, Historically Black College and University on an athletic football scholarship in Northeast Louisiana. At Grambling, Jamar earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree. Since then he has also earned his principal’s certification from University of Nebraska at Omaha, and completed his doctoral degree at Doane University. As a former public school teacher and athletic coach, Jamar has built relationships with many families in the Omaha community. Currently, works for a non-profit program that provides students a career plan from high school to workforce program, working with students to ensure careers for students of hope and need through education and supportive relationships. Jamar also serves on three community boards: Great Plains Black History Museum, Concord Meditation Center, and the City of Omaha: Human Rights and Relations board. As a husband, father, mentor, teacher, and career coach Jamar, lives by the quote:
“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”
